Born in 1802. During the Civil War he worked at the Pittsburgh Arsenal. Most of his guns are of the
Civil War period. Therefor it is assumed that he came very late to the gun business. His guns were
with octagonal barrels of about 63" long and signed on the top. Somes were only marked C.F. Usually
he used plain maple for the stocks. |
